Having contracted heart disease my spaniel was told he had less than 6 months to live. Within that time he wore a Bioflow collar and had an accident which meant surgery to his leg. His recovery was fast and his heart remained working fine. He was very active despite the vet asking has he slowed down, his heart doesn't sound good, take him for short walks. He carried on having his regular walks and enjoying life no fainting spells or heart problems which were apparent to see. He lived a happy life despite his illness and the Bioflow helped prolong his life for around 2 years after the vet predicted 6 months. I purchased a collar for my almost 14 year old Springer spaniel 10 days ago. At the time she was barely able to walk without being in great discomfort. Its an absolute miracle!

'We bought a bull dog puppy, Sid at nine weeks, he was a lively, affectionate, beautiful pup. We soon noticed he was walking funny. I put it down to him being pigeon toed. However we were concerned so on 25th April 2000 we took Sid to our vet.

After a thorough examination, the vet said he thought it was a spinal problem. Because he was so young we didn't x-ray him as he was less than 6 months. Within ten days Sid's back legs were useless, he couldn't walk. We took him back to the vet who reluctantly x-rayed him. The vet said nothing could be done and he suggested to put him to sleep. We got a second opinion from another vet who told us exactly the same.

We kept him going on as best we could, we had some wheels made for him to go on in the garden. He was then fitted with a Bioflow collar. He had his collar on for 3 months and nothing happened. His legs were very sore. Then a little miracle happened. I was in the kitchen one morning when Sid got off his bed and walked into the room. He was previously dragging himself around as his back legs just didn't function.

It is now October and our Sid not only walks but runs like a little greyhound. Front legs like a Bulldog and back like a kangaroo.

The Bioflow collar never leaves his neck except when he has a bath. For only £30 and the good fortune to hear about the collar, Sid now has a full, active and very happy life'. M.D

'A car unfortunately hit Carrie our two year old Chocolate Labrador in October 1999. She had gashed her back right leg down to the bone joint and had dislocated her back left hip.

Three operations late, including on referral to a specialist, her hip was still dislocated. The final suggestion from our vet was to have her leg amputated or see if she would cope with it being dislocated. We were horrified and decided she had been through more than her fair share of operations so we would see how she copes.

A couple of my flock of sheep died so I invested in a couple of orphanage ones as replacements. Unfortunately, one of the new lambs had an inflammatory problem which attacks joints and gives great pain and discomfort in those infected areas. It failed to thrive and was much smaller than the rest of the lambs in my flock. We gave him a course of antibiotics which made no improvement to the noticeable pain the lamb was in. Reluctant to spend more money on conventional treatments, I spoke to a nearby lady who kept horses in a local field. I love my horse so much, when the vet told me to put a gun to her head to put us both out of our misery, I refused to do it and tried franticly for an alternative remedy for arthritis. 'I am a vet in a very large animal practice. I was called out to a cow that was unable to get up after a difficult calving the previous night. I diagnosed Milk fever (lack of calcium often associated with lack of magnesium) and obturator nerve damage causing hind limb paralysis of the back left leg. I treated the cow with conventional therapy which consisted of - calcium, magnesium and anti-inflammatory drugs. Unfortunately the next day the cow was no better and I had to go back there to give the cow a slaughter certificate. It was the kindest option as the cow was not moving, the poor farmer was most upset, I then thought about trying some Bioflow horse boots on the poor cow as an experiment. The next day I went round to try to encourage the cow back on her feet. I felt the boots needed some more time. The next day I returned to do the same. The cow was showing a marked improvement and did get those hind legs off the ground some 6 inches or so, still very wobbly, we decided to leave it for the day and as the farmer went to see her the next morning, she was already back up on her feet.'
